What automation equipment can you source?
Common categories include sensors and instrumentation, PLCs and I/O, HMIs and industrial PCs, drives and motion equipment, control-panel hardware, machine-safety components, robotics, machine vision and industrial communications. The catalogue is a guide rather than an exhaustive list.
Do you hold any equipment in stock?
No. IES holds no inventory. Each item is sourced specifically against the customer’s requirement, and availability is checked when the enquiry is assessed and again before order.
Can you source new, used, refurbished and obsolete equipment?
Yes. All four conditions can be considered. The practical options depend on the part, manufacturer, age, required documentation and current market availability.
Are you restricted to particular manufacturers?
No. IES is manufacturer independent. The brands shown in the catalogue are common examples, but other manufacturers and compatible alternatives can also be investigated.
Can you find discontinued or obsolete parts?
Yes. Full part numbers, series, revision, firmware and photographs are particularly important for obsolete requirements. Availability may come from specialist surplus holders, unused legacy stock, refurbished equipment or verified used equipment.
What information do you need?
The manufacturer and full part number are the best starting point. Also send the revision or firmware, voltage and ratings, protocol, quantity, application, preferred condition and required date where known. A clear nameplate photograph is often extremely useful.
Can you guarantee compatibility?
Compatibility depends on the complete application and existing system. Available technical information is provided, but the buyer is responsible for confirming that the proposed equipment, revision, firmware and configuration are suitable before ordering.
Can used or refurbished equipment be inspected or tested?
The available inspection, test report, repair history and warranty position depend on the supplier and item. Whatever is available will be stated before order; it should not be assumed unless confirmed in writing.
Do you provide programming or installation?
Programming, installation, modification, integration and commissioning are not included as standard. Specialist work can be subcontracted and quoted separately if required.
Can you source machine-safety components?
Yes, against a completed customer specification. Safety-system design, risk assessment and validation are not included. Documentation and condition are considered carefully for used, refurbished or obsolete safety hardware.
How are price and delivery confirmed?
A formal quotation identifies the proposed equipment, condition, price, VAT treatment, payment terms, lead time, delivery scope and relevant exclusions. Availability is subject to confirmation until the equipment has been secured.
Can I submit surplus automation equipment for sale?
Yes. Use the Sell Automation Equipment form and include the manufacturer, full part number, quantity, condition, location and clear photographs. Submission does not guarantee purchase, listing or resale.
